Lead Pastor:

YongJin Park | 박용진 목사

Pastor Yongjin Park is a 1^st generation immigrant who was born and raised in S. Korea. He came to the United States in 1994 to study and graduated from University in Texas. After graduating from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, he moved to Virginia and served numerous churches, Shining Star Community Church, Virginia Korean Baptist Church, Washington Onnuri Church, etc., in Metro Washington DC area. In December 2022, he and few people shared a vision to plant a new paradigm church, Crossover Baptist Church where old generation could pass on their faith legacy to the next generation in the Gospel.

He is currently working as a pastor and an Audiovisual Design Engineer on a bi-vocational basis. He is married to Mihee Han, who majored in voce and loves to praise God. He has a happy family with a son, Sungjoo, and a daughter, Hayoung. When he has spare time, he likes to go sea fishing and camping with his family.

박용진 목사는 한국에서 태어나고 자란 이민 1세대입니다. 1994년에 미국으로 유학을 와서 텍사스에서 대학을 졸업한후 뉴올리언스 침례신학대학원을 졸업하고 사역하다가 2002년에 버지니아로 이주해 와서 워싱턴 성광교회, 버지니아 한인침례교회, 워싱턴 온누리교회등 메트로 워싱턴 디씨지역의 여러 교회에서 사역했습니다. 2022년 12월에 기성세대가 복음안에서 다음세대를 섬기며 그들에게 신앙의 유산을 물려주는 새로운 패러다임의 교회를 위해 Crossover Baptist Church를 개척하였습니다.

현재 목회자이자 Audiovisual Design Engineer로써 자비량 (bi-vocational)으로 사역을 감당하고 있습니다. 성악을 전공해서 하나님을 찬양하기를 즐겨하는 아내 한미희와 결혼해서 두 자녀 승주와 하영이가 있는 행복한 가정을 이루었으며 시간이 나면 가족과 함께 바다낚시와 캠핑을 가는 것을 좋아합니다.

Joyce Baik | 백정혜 전도사

Joyce Baik accepted Jesus as her Savior at the age of 10, and started playing the church accompaniment in middle school. Her faith has grown and matured through various activities of the church as she passed through adolescence and youth. She studied composition in the Department of Church Music at Korea Baptist Theological Seminary, and received a master's degree in church music from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary.

After receiving her master's degree, she moved to Virginia and served as an accompanist for the praise team at Central Presbyterian Church in Washington, as a children's minister at International Calvary Church, as a missionary for kindergarten and elementary school at Jesus Love Church in Washington, and much more.

She has a passion for education and teaching, which has led her to teach at various institutions within Fairfax County. Her only family is her husband who is a great strength to her and her closest advisor.

저는 10 세에 예수님을 나의 구주로 영접하였고, 중학교 시절부터 교회 반주를 시작하였으며, 피아노를 치며 찬양하는 시간이 나에게 가장 큰 은혜의 시간입니다. 저의 신앙은 청소년기와 청년기를 지나면서 교회의 여러 활동들을 통해 성장하고 성숙하여 졌습니다. 한국침례신학대학교 교회음악과에서 작곡을 전공하였으며, New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary 에서 교회음악석사학위를 받았습니다.

석사학위를 받은 뒤 버지니아로 이주하여 워싱톤중앙장로교회 찬양팀 반주자로, 인터내셔널 갈보리 교회에서 큐티 사역자로, 워싱톤 예수사랑교회 유초등부 전도사로 섬겼습니다. 이 외 다수 교회에서 반주자로, 지휘자로, 전도사로 섬겼습니다.

교육에 관심이 많고 가르치기를 좋아해서 음악아카데미에서 피아노 교사로 개인 피아노 교사로 일을 했으며 버지니아 페어팩스 공립학교에서 한글교사로 근무했습니다. 저의 유일한 가족은 남편(이상만)이며 그는 저에게 큰 힘이 되어주며 언제나 긍정적인 조언으로 저를 도와주고 있습니다.
